Our family of 5 just completed the 4 day Sandakphu trek. Subash was very accommodating and helped us find the trek that best fit our traveling schedule. He communicated well and assisted with logistics in lodging and transportation beyond just the trek. We did the day hike that started from Dhotrey up to Tonglu, then followed the India-Nepal border to Chitre. We had a trek in the Himalayan foothills on the Nepal/India border with our wonderful guide Dawa Lama. Though the clouds ruined the view, Dawa was great and informative, it felt authentic to have breakfast and lunch in local mountain villages (tasty momos, soups, tea, curries and 'the best lime pickle I have ever tasted'). dipu our driver was also great and also drove us to the airport.All the Ashmita staff spoke excellent English and were really easy to communicate ... continue reading
