From the moment I was picked at my hotel in Siliguri until I was dropped off at the Badogra airport 6 days later I was well cared for by drivers, guides and hotel/guest house folks. Ashmita Trek organized for us just great treking on the Singalil route. we climbed 3600 and admired the four eight-thousanders of the world. We had a very good guide Dava Lama - kind, experienced, caring. Accommodation, food, transport, everything was on time and of high quality. We visited tiger hill sunrise and trek after arranging with Ashmita Trek and Tours. The trip was amazing and luckily we had good weather! We were provided with a map and helpful directions for the walk down. We also booked our tickets to Kolkata here which was simple, not always the case in India! We did a 4-day private hiking trek with ashmita trek this january (3 people + guide). The tour was amazing, a little foggy in the beginning but when we were on the top everything was bright and clear with views on the everest and kangchendzonga. We did the Singalila Ridge trek from Manebhanjan to Sandakphu, ending in Timburey. It was an amazing experience, my mother and I did it together and it was fantastic! Even if at first my mum wasn't very confident about doing the trek, it turned out to be really fulfilling for both of us! We spent 4 days touring Kathmandu City and Kathmandu Valley with Ashmita Trek and Tours. They were a wonderful group to see this city and area with.  After the hustle and bustle of the city it was wonderful to go out to Nagarkot day hike for the Sunrise view - we were lucky and had a lovely view of the Himalayas range of Annapurna though clouds kept Everest hidden!
