We had a fantastic multi-day private itinerary drawn up and delivered by the team at Ashmita. They arranged pick-up from IXB airport and transfer to Darjeeling, visits to tea garden and Tiger Hill, and the most excellent Tonglu Tumling day hike with a really engaging and kind guide. Everything was excellent. Our guide was quiet (which suits us very well) and very forthcoming and appreciative. The food was excellent and the speed exactly according to our needs. Namaste! Sangay Bhutia (guide) took our group of 4 on the Tiger Hill sunrise day hike. Dipu Lepcha drove us up to the lookout, where we caught the sunrise! Sangay led us through a beautiful trail that goes north from Tiger Hill through the woods, and since it was winter time, the frost made the air and landscape fresh. I had a terrific weekend touring Darjeeling with Kiran Rai as guide and Dipu Lepcha as driver. We packed a lot of sights into a short period of time but they managed things smoothly so it never felt rushed. We had a wonderful trip with Ashmita Trek and Tours and enjoyed our time with Rupesh Dá! Rupesh was extremely helpful and friendly during our 6 day trek in Singalila national park. We had marvellous views on ‘the sleeping buddha’ at sunrise. Food was very tasty and the communication with the company to arrange the trek according to our wishes.
