We had a great time on our one-day trek with our guide Tenzing. He was very knowledgeable about the region and took time to explain the flora and the places we visited. Even though it was during low season and quite foggy, it was quite enjoyable as the temperature was refreshing and the paths were mostly empty. I visited Darjeeling last month with my wife. I saw reviews of best travel companies in Darjeeling and found Asmita Trek and Tours company at the top of list. I booked for Queen of Hills Darjeeling city package for 3 nights and 4 days inclusive of hotel stay.. Our experience with Asmita was great right from beginning. Great experience!!! We were on the 4-day Darjeeling Sandakphu Trek with Ashmita Trek and Tours our amazing guide Sangay, who is extremely knowledgeable, fun, and kind!! I was quite sick at the beginning of the trip (caught a cold before the trek) but our guide adjusted the pace, offered me warm water bottles, banana shakes (because I had diarrhea), and did everything to make me more comfortable and recover faster! Just finished the 4 day trek to Sandakphu with Ashmita Trek and Tours and it was a wonderful, wonderful experience!Our guide Sangay was extremely experienced and took care of us throughout everything. Fantastic trek with a great company that took us to mighty snow capped mountains with breath-taking views of Mt. Kanchenjunga.Subash and the team at Ashmita deserve the 5 star rating. The organization by Ashmita was immaculate! Our guide Sangay is highly experienced with trekking at high altitude, considerate of every member in the group, and extremely detail oriented. He arranged sufficient acclimation practice for us and everyone successfully made to View Point 1, the highest point—the most senior member in our group is 73!
