Have nothing but great things to say for Ashmita and their fantastic guides! We booked up our trek last minute once we arrived in Darjeeling and our expectations were thoroughly surpassed. Firstly is very handy to book a whole package and be able to pay via PayPal especially with the current money situation in India. We did the 4 nights 5 days trek and absolutely loved it. The views are unbeliveable, the accomodation is nice and the food is really good. Our guide, Binod, has around 20 years of trekking experience and great knowledge about the area. He is super friendy and an excellent guide. We took a 4-day family trek along the Singalila Ridge the 10th through the 13th of this month and I can't say enough great things about Ashmita Trek, and about company founder Subash Tamangand, and our guide, Tshring Sherpa. Setting up the trek with Subash was effortless - he was super responsive and set up the trek for the dates we wanted. He arranged for airport pickup and a ride back to the airport afterwards.
