My girlfriend and I did a 1-day trek with Ashmita in March 2017. We hiked to Tongluk on the India-Nepal border. Our guide, Sangay, was totally awesome. He was so professional and knowledgeable. He knew the trails, the types of trees and flowers, all about Tibetan Buddhism, and about relations between India and Nepal. He answered all of our questions while we trekked. My wife and I had an amazing trek for 6 days on the Singalila Ridge in Feb. It was very cold but the warmth of our guide, the people who hosted us, the amazing scenery all made up for it. Thanks Sangay for being an exceptional guide. We would highly recommend this trek. continue reading

Have nothing but great things to say for Ashmita and their fantastic guides! We booked up our trek last minute once we arrived in Darjeeling and our expectations were thoroughly surpassed. Firstly is very handy to book a whole package and be able to pay via PayPal especially with the current money situation in India.
