We did the 5 days Sandakphu trek in April andI chose Ashmita based on the tripadvisor reviews.The booking and organisation was fantastic. We have had a wonderful 14 days tent trekking trip to Goecha La - with incredible views to Mt. Kangchenjunga. After that we continued our tour to walk along the Singalia Ridge. The entire Trekking Tour was perfect organised and the personal was highly motivated, competent and very friendly. It was a pleasure to travel with such wonderful people. As an older person who is not at all used to high altitudes, the thought of trekking caused me some concern, but I did want to see the mountains, especially Kanchenjunga so my companions and I decided on a 3 day jeep trek on the Singalila Ridge with Ashmita. He set us a perfect 5 day trek for our family ( two kids ages 10 and 11 years old) He arranged an airport pickup with one of the better drivers I have ever driven with which helped immensely with the crazy India driving. A wonderful week in Darjeeling and Sikkim, thanks to Ashmita. Our route took us through Darjeeling, Pelling, Yuksom and Gangtok, with stops at monasteries, tea plantations and other sights. We were booked into consistently great hotels, often with fantastic views from the room. The car was comfortable and reliable, thanks to our calm driver Kiran Chettri.
