Subash was very professional and extremely easy to work with in booking our 1 day hike and 1 day bike ride.Sangay was our tour guide. We spent a day hiking from Dhotrey to Tumling and then down to Chittrey, including stops for breakfast, lunch and tea at local establishments. We had a great trek with Sangay and Tenzing along the Singalila ridge for 4 days! We spent the night at three different locations tumling, sandakphu, and timbure. The lodges we stayed at fed us plenty of fresh hot local foods and our guides made sure we were comfortable and warm. We went on a five night trek with Ashmita along the Singalila ridge in April 2016. It was probably the best trekking I have ever done, everything went according to plan. The weather was awesome, sunny everyday and perfect temperature for trekking. In the night time the temperature dropped down to 2-3 degrees.Our guide picked us up at the airport in Bagdogra and took us to the start of the first leg of the trek. Recently I had been to Darjeeling and had used the services of Ashmita Trek and Tours. I had sent a mail in advance mentioning my requirements and had received proper response through mail and as soon I got down at the railway station at Newjal Paiguri(NJP),Mr.Santhosh Tamang had reached to pick me up to drop at Darjeeling. I went on a trek with my brother and 2 friends, we were guided by Sangay and our porters were Tensing and Mingla. We did a 7 day trek of the Singalila Ridge, starting at Darjeeling in the first week of May. Everyone we worked with did the most fantastic job of making our trip perfect, from fixing my boots before we set off to cooking a birthday cake for my brother over an open fire (!) My son and I had a terrific trek with Ashmita Trek April 10th - 13, 2016. Everything was organized via email in advance of the trip and all questions answered. Our guide (Mr. Binod Tamang) was great and the tea houses we stayed in were very nice and the food delicious and abundant - often more than we could eat!
