I and my husband toured Darjeeling and Sikkim between 20th and 28th of April 2016. The Travel arrangements including Hotel accommodation was done by Mr. Subhash of Ashmita Travels. We did the Singalila Ridge trek plus tours of Darjeeling & Kalimpong with Ashmita in March. The trek was a great experience, required some physical fitness plus mental stamina. We had great views of the mountains on the trek and in Darjeeling; we even caught sights of Everest! We stayed in trekking huts along the way which were comfortable and clean with plenty of food. Subash was very professional and replied extremely quickly to my email requests for information. We decided on the 6-day trek but customizable shorter or longer tours are available on request. Two friends and I did the Darjeeling Sandakphu-Timburey Trek (4 days) and had an amazing time. In the run up to the trek, Subash answered all our questions and concerns promptly and reassured us in a briefing the day before we set off. We have had a wonderful 14 days tent trekking trip to Goecha La - with incredible views to Mt. Kangchenjunga. After that we continued our tour to walk along the Singalia Ridge. The entire Trekking Tour was perfect organised and the personal was highly motivated, competent and very friendly. It was a pleasure to travel with such wonderful people.
