Great 4 day trek along the Singalia Ridge taking in Sandakphu and views of Kangchenjunga. Really well organised by friendly manager of Ashmita who went out of his way to come to our hotel for a pre-briefing at a time to suit us. Extremely reasonably priced. Great local food at high altitudes. Accommodation in comfortable homestays. We are highly recommending choosing Ashmita trek to go on a trekking tour. We have done a trip to the Darjeeling and sikkim in mid-February 2016. Our guide had a good knowledge of the flora and fauna and took very well care of us. The tour was perfectly organized and well structured, therefor we didn`t face any problems. Subash was very approachable and answered all my questions before heading off on the trek. My guide Pemba was very knowledgeable and attentive during the whole hike and couldn't have done more. We were very lucky to have snow and clear blue skies at sunrise at Sundakphu giving us awesome views over the whole mountain range. Ashmita Tours is a very professional outfit. continue reading

Subash organised a 2-day trek for us along the Singalila Ridge, part walking, part Land Rover, to see the sunrise over the Himalayas from Sandakphu. Our guide was excellent, always courteous and helpful, even offering to carry our sleeping bags as we only had day rucksacks with us. As i remember we planned to visit Darjeeling in the end of december 2015 and try to understand which company want to choose for our Singalila trek. We found 5 companies and ask to them same questions about trek and only 1 company gave us full and most interesting answers for everything we asked! It was one of the reason to choose Ashmita Treks. I was having trouble finding a company to arrange transfers up to Darjeeling and organise a driver for us when we were there. Luckily I found Ashmita Trek and Tours. Subash the owner was a pleasure to deal with and the trip all went smoothly. The driver was waiting for us at the airport and drove us the 4 hours up to Darjeeling.
