Two friends and I went on the Darjeeling Sandakphu-Timburey Trek at the end of October.Ashmita Trek and Tours allowed for our every need during the four days we spent trekking. We organised a shorter 4 day trek (usually 6 days) from Darjeeling to Sandakphu and back. They were so willing to help us as we had a limited amount of time. The trip was well organised throughout and we had a fantastic time. Our guide was kind, thoughtful and attentive at all times. The accommodation was good and there was always plenty of food on offer! Our porter worked hard and was very professional. The route itself was interesting and varied and gave us spectacular views of the mountains while we were on the ridge and we enjoyed visiting the remote villages on our way back down to Rimbick. Totally recomended. Me and one friend did the one day hikking IN Darjeeling  chatkapur with dalaw lama as guide. All the staff very kind people. Also know a lot of himalayas and dont have problem to share it with you. I would like to do it again and more days! continue reading

A friend and I visited Darjeeling at the end of August/beginning of September. We knew it was the rainy season, but that did not stop us from doing a wonderful trek with Subash. We started our trek with a 30+K bike ride, and then a 10K trek into Nepal. The sights were beautiful, even with the rain. Subash was an excellent guide, and corresponded well to our needs.
