The trip was well organised throughout and we had a fantastic time. Our guide was kind, thoughtful and attentive at all times. The accommodation was good and there was always plenty of food on offer! Totally recomended. Me and one friend did the one day hikking IN Darjeeling  chatkapur with dalaw lama as guide. All the staff very kind people. Also know a lot of himalayas and dont have problem to share it with you. I would like to do it again and more days! continue reading

A friend and I visited Darjeeling at the end of August/beginning of September. We knew it was the rainy season, but that did not stop us from doing a wonderful trek with Subash. We started our trek with a 30+K bike ride, and then a 10K trek into Nepal. The sights were beautiful, even with the rain. Subash was an excellent guide, and corresponded well to our needs. Recently did a day hike with Subash up to Tonglu. The hike was exactly what we were looking for in a Darjeeling-area day trek -- great views, varied terrain, unique cultural experience walking through the villages along the India-Nepal border. Despite the rain and cloud we had a great day's hike with Subash. The area is stunning we can only imagine what it is like when the clouds clear! Subash offered a perfect mixture of activity and culture. Mountain biking and trekking at a level suited to the group, with amazing views, even though the weather wasn't perfectly clear. Seeing a Buddhist monestry was a highlight too - absolutely breathtaking! I would definitely recommend this, and would come back a second time! :) continue reading

This was a highlight of our 8 months trip around India and Nepal, and that's saying a lot as we had a great deal of amazing experiences!! We do a fair bit of trekking but not often with a guide.
