I got the information from net about many tour operators and somehow from reviews i judged that Asmita Trek and tours must be the best among all and I find it true also. Responses from the operator are quick. Rates are reasonables. Staff at drivers seat was having excellent knowlege of routes and with good behaviour. Vehicles were on time as per schedules. I would really like to recommend Ashmita trek and tours to everyone looking for a serious, reliable and welcoming company for trekking around Darjeeling. We were very satisfied with our Day Hike (one day trek). Subash took us up and around the Himalayan foothills at the border of India and Nepal. May isn't the time of year to see Everest, but it didn't matter because the foothills were gorgeous in and of themselves. We planned to rent a jeep and make a 6-day trip to Sikkim. So we searched touring companies in Darjeeling just walking around and stepping in - and Subash in Ashmita Tours was most helpful, most proffessional, most considering.
