We had a fantastic time trekking with Pemba. We visited a Buddhist monastry, stayed in Nepal overnight and viewed mount Everest at sunrise. The scenary was really variable, and very beautiful. We ate very well, trying local food and eating in small restaurants in villages we would never have discovered ourselves. We didn't have lot of time so we decided to make a 2 days trek that Subash recommended us. The way up it happend to be too short but with nice views. We went up in less than 2h, we slept in Tumbling, nice place and food and amazing sightseeing in the sunrise. After breakfast we went down to Maneybhanjan after a 5h walk. I recently went on a two week holiday to India and this trek was without doubt the highlight! The views were incredible and well worth all the walking. The guide was was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly and always ensured our needs were met.Subhash was also able to accommodate our late arrival into New Jalpaiguri train station, changing our itinerary slightly to ensure we were still able to fit our trek into the time we had. Went with the guide Binod for 5 days in this trek. all was very good, start with the good will and the organization of the manager mr Subash, the responsibility abd the knowledge of Binod and ofcourse the wonderful view of Kanchanjunga it was amazing experience. continue reading
