We had only a limited amount of time, but wanted a Himalayan trek in the Darjeeling region with (hopefully) good views of Everest. Subash was friendly and accommodating. He created an itinerary that worked with our tight schedule, arranged all the details and provided a fantastic guide (Mr. Pembra). Everything was great! We found Ashmita trek and tours on the Darjeeling tourist information center website. From the beginning, the contact was very warm and Subash organised us exactly what we wanted. We were welcomed in Bagdogra airport by a very happy and smiling Subash, which is very nice after a long trip. Our guide was Binod who was very knowledgable and very attentive, supplying plenty of tea and biscuits whenever we stopped. Ashmita Trek and Tours Organised our Treks in Darjeeling the Singalila Sandakphu Range National Park . Everything worked like clockwork and we had a wonderful time. At first we planned to visited Darjeeling but due to political tensions in the region (august 2013) we had to change the itinerary and instead visit Sikkim. The company managed to make in no time a wonderful new itinerary for 5 days. We were a group of 8 people and hired 2 Toyota Innovas with drivers.
