After having breakfast, set off early from Darjeeling at 9:00 AM for the day's tour. Your first stop is Takdah, a quaint village located about 28 kilometers away. It takes roughly two hours to get to Takdah. While there, you will explore the Orchid Center, where you can marvel at a variety of orchids, including those from the Himalayan region.
As you travel from Takdah to Tinchuley, stop at Gumba Dara viewpoint to enjoy stunning views of the Kanchenjunga ranges, the tea garden valley, and a local village. Next, embark on a nature drive in Tinchuley and visit the Tinchuley Monastery.
On your return journey, take a nature walk at Lamahatta and explore the roadside garden. Visit a sacred lake and spend relaxing moments at Lover's viewpoint during a nature stroll. Lamahatta also features small stalls offering hot food and snacks, making it an ideal place for a light lunch. Finally, head back to Darjeeling and be dropped off at your hotel.
