Our driver meet at your hotel in Darjeeling 7:00 AM – Departure from Darjeeling Your adventure begins Enjoy a scenic, two-hour drive to Maneybhanjyang, the gateway to Singalila National Park, where we will complete the necessary entry formalities.
And from here we will Ascent to Tonglu top into our classic Land Rover for an uphill drive through a vibrant forest of oak and rhododendron and pine trees. In just a few hours, we’ll reach Tonglu (10,130 ft).From this incredible vantage point, you'll get breathtaking views of the city of Darjeeling below and the majestic mount Kanchenjunga range towering in the distance. Lunch in Tumling (9,600 ft) Next, we’ll cruise 2 km down a beautiful trail lined with alpine herbs to reach the scenic village of Tumling. Here, we will stop for a delicious, authentic local lunch hosted by a warm Gurung family at Shikhar Lodge, Tumling, all while enjoying uninterrupted views of Mount Kanchenjunga.
After lunch, our trail winds back downhill through the charming mountain hamlets of Meghma, Lamhaydhura, and Chitrey Monastery (Chitre Gompa) is a 100-year-old Buddhist sanctuary located in Chitre, a small village, after drive to Maneybhanjyang before our final drive back to Darjeeling.
