Wake up to a magical Himalayan morning, greeted by the melodious chorus of mountain birds echoing through the dense forest. The crisp alpine air and golden sunlight filtering through the trees create an unforgettable start to the day. After enjoying a hearty and energizing breakfast, prepare for a scenic trek through one of the most beautiful sections of the trail.

The trek from Sachen to Tshoka via Bakhim takes you through a peaceful forest landscape with gentle ascents and descents. The trail passes through the charming hamlet of Bakhim, surrounded by lush greenery and soothing natural sounds. As you continue, you will reach the Prek Chu Bridge, a picturesque spot overlooking a fast-flowing mountain river—perfect for a short pause and photos. From here, the trail winds through dense Maple and Oak forests, where the air is filled with birdsong and the calm of nature. After a steady climb, you arrive at Tshoka, a beautiful high-altitude campsite offering stunning views of snow-covered peaks, including the majestic Mt. Pandim and Tenzing Khang.

Take a well-deserved break at the campsite before heading out for a short walk to the Tshoka Monastery, located not far from the tents. Set beside a serene lake, the monastery is a quiet and spiritual place—ideal for reflection as evening approaches.

Today's trek is one of the most scenic yet challenging sections of the journey. The day begins with a gentle ascent into a lush forest, where the cool mountain air and the scent of damp earth welcome you.

After a few hours of walking, you will have wooden pathway winding through a dense rhododendron forest. During the spring, this trail comes alive with vibrant red and pink blooms, creating a stunning floral canopy overhead. After passing through the forest, you will reach Phedang, a beautiful resting point lined with prayer flags. Please take a short break here and ensure you are carrying enough water, as there are no water sources further along the way.

Later after your short break Continuing the trek, you will arrive at Deorali Top, a viewpoint offering wide panoramic views of the Himalayas. On a clear day, you can spot the mighty Mt. Kanchenjunga and Pandim standing tall among the clouds. From Deorali, the trail becomes easier and more gradual. Please note that you can expect strong winds and significant drops in temperature, so be sure to dress warmly. Once you arrive at Dzongri, you can settle into your campsite, enjoy a hot dinner, and get some rest to prepare for tomorrow's adventures.
